Please Help, I would like to add an SES to an existing S8700/G650 Gateway. Do I have to obtain a new authentication file and license for the SES or use the existing files that was used for the S8700.

Thanks,

Kevin J

well, here is the thing... SES only runs co-resident with the S8300C in CM5 now... It won't run directly on an S8700, you would need an external SES Server (which is an S8500).

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am adding a S8500 server with SES to the S8700. When the customer bought the system, both the two S8700 and the S8500 servers with the appropriate software was purchased together.

Well, that's different :)

Yes, you will need an RFA Transaction number or SAP Order # to go into RFA and build the SES license, it will be licensed to the MAC address of the S8500 server. You get this info (MAC address), by loggin into and using "WebLM"
