Can anybody help me figure this out. I have five unbound fields on a form, and when I click a btn, I have code written that takes the values from these fields and fills in the corresponding fields on the subform for a later calculation.

The problem I am having is that if the users enters more information, instead of creating a new records, it just overwrites the last record.

How can I have new record forced on the subform each time there is more data entered in the unbound fields on the form

One idea that may help is when the person goes from one field to the next field, lock the previous field. By the time he gets to the 5th field, the previous four are locked. When they click the button, not only does it add the record, but unlocks the 4 fields. This way they have to click the button to continue.

It it works the first time, just reload the entire form when you press the button.
