Hello. I am in the process of ordering MiVoice Bus licenses for Mitel 5312 IP phones, as well as MiCC licenses for agents to appear in the CCM (Contact Center Management) reporting. My question is how would these licenses be loaded? Since these licenses will be bought from a supplier, is it the supplier who will be adding the licenses? Or can I add them?

Typically, the systems have access to the internet and can download the licenses directly.

If no access to internet, the method(s) are more convoluted and would require assistance

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

We handle licenses for customer as follows
customer asks us for licenses, we ask if they need labour for config

if they say no , we order the licenses and apply them to the appropriate ARIDS in the amc
they are then available for retrieval as kwb says by manually syncing the appropriate servers and doing a license retrieve

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

The Mitel 3300 ICP and CCM server can access the internet. Is access to the AMC site provided by the suppliers? Doing a google search comes up with the Mitel AMC site ( which is asking for a username and password which I do not have.

Process:

You must order the licenses from the "Vendor of Record" with Mitel.
[ul]
[li]The Vendor Of Record is the only one that can assign new licenses to your AMC Account[/li]
[li]The Vendor may include a labour charge to assign these licenses on the AMC[/li]
[li]The Vendor may include a labour charge to allocate the licenses to the customer system[/li]
[/ul]

The only part you can do yourself is the last point above.

With Access to the MiVB system, you access the Licenses form, Select Change, Select Retrieve Licenses, and allocate any new licenses that are downloaded.

With the MiCC, there is a License Update option in the Windows folder for MiCC.

Thanks for the info. I have another question, will the Vendor of Record provide access to the AMC account for syncing the licenses? We are ordering licenses from a new vendor.

New vendor will have to apply for transfer of licence to their name before they will be able to use the amc for you unless the original vendor just lets them have it. Its about £90 now for transfer of licence in the Uk either way.
