I often see Intuity Audix MAP5 boxes for sale fairly cheap, with passwords, but without cables or anything else (in other words, just the PC and what comes inside).

I have a project Definity G3csi / Prologix, with a TN798B processor (not functional yet, so I can't tell you specifically what software revision I have as yet). I would like to add an inexpensive (translation: old) Audix setup to my switch, but I am a bit confused. I've looked at the installation documentation for the MAP5, but it doesn't clearly indicate (at least not to my novice eyes) what hardware configurations are appropriate for a csi system.

What are my options, and what additional equipment would I need to acquire?

Many thanks in advance for any advice!

I think that it is the Version 7 that only takes mode code intergration. If the Intuity is newer than that, you can set up a link that provided more features and faster integration. You can use mode codes for any version and it is probably the easiest integration as far as setting up. All data is sent across the analog channels. Your PBX must have analog cards to be able to have a Intuity.
If you go with a link, then most people go with a IP link that can be direct or thru your IP network.
You have to have the analog cards in the Intuity too, and a LAN card too if you going with IP link.
I would buy a Map 40 instead of a Map 5 because they are a better box. They sale for about $200 on ebay.
