I am sorry if this has been answered before but I cannot find the formula on here.
I use a set of ratings for horseracing and I have two sets, one for the best rating achieved and one for the rating achieved on the last run.
What I have to do at present is add up these up manually to get an average rating.
For instance
Col A 100 Col B 200 Col C 150
Col A is the best rating
Col B is the last time rating
Col C would be the average rating.
Some days Col A would go from A1 to A 300 and the same with B
I have sometimes over 300 horses to rate each day and it is time consuming. Is there a formula in excel to make this easier?
Thanks for your time and any help is much appreciated.
Regards
Rob
