I have a UC 360 unit that the users need to add an account code after making a long distance call. When they make the call the keypad goes away and they are unable to add the account code digits when prompted. Is there a way to add a delay to the outgoing call so you can put in the account code when dialing the call or some other way of getting the keypad to stay on.

enter the account code prior to making the call?

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

I've tried entering the code as part of the number and it will not work. I've tried connecting a keyboard and that won't work either. Is there no way to make the key pad come up on demand? My boss can't make long distance calls because he can't dial in the code!

What version software re you running on the uC360?

Our keypad stays visible or can be made visible from an icon ?

We can dial MCA pilot and then enter access code using the dialpad without any problems.

I would assume that what you want to do is no different

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

One of my customers has the same problem, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have an Ticket in Mitel to solve this issue I tried the latest software release for the 360 2.1.0.13 still will not allow you to input the codes in. I will update once all the test are completed

In the uc360 settings, change the dtmf type either to or from rfc2833. See if that helps

You need to go into the Mitel 3300 programming. Under System Feature Setting-SIP Device Capabilities for the UC 360 and under the basic tab change Enable Digit Collection in Busy or Alerting State to Yes. Once the LD call is dialed an option to have the dial pad appear is then displayed

We had to upgrade the UC360 (1.1) and the 3300 to 6.0SP3 (12.0.3.15)from SP1 to correct the issue.
