Add Person to Company Directory in CallPilot without Voicemail Box

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I thought I'd check anyway. Is there a way to add someone to the company directory without them having an assigned extension or voicemail box? We have people who share a phone and voicemail box and I want them to be able to be looked up in the company directory by last name.

The voicemail system wouldn't be able to call anyone if a name wasn't assigned to a valid extension number.

That's what I thought, but wanted to check anyway.

If their names were say Joe and John and you had Callpilot do both first and last name (both) then spell the mailbox name as Joe,John

Then record the directory greeting in the mailbox as "Joe and John extXXX"
