Add a Polycom Soundstation

I need to COPY a POLYCOM SOUNDSTATION 2 from my other board room that was setup before I got here and I dont know what TYPE it should be:

TYPE? ???? (I dont know what phone type a polycom soundstation 2 should be)

call a phone from the polycom that is woking and see what ext it shows on display.

with the DN you can now find the TN and TN type

I know the TN and the DN, I need to know what tpye of phone a polycom soundstation is

ex.
8 button = 2008
16 button = 2116
polycom soundstation = ????

that's what Reusser is telling you, onces you know the TN from another polycom, it will tell you if its a 2008, 2616 or in some cases it's an analog 500 port...

try building it as a 500 set...

There are 3 types of Polycom station:
Analog -> Answer type 500
Digital -> Answer type 2616
IP -> Answer type i2001

First check on the box which type is it.
