Hi All,
can some one help me how can I activate a caller id on my phone system. What LD should I use? My system is option 11c. The feature is already activated on my carrier side.
Another question, How can I track calls during call processing?
Thanks in advance.

You need to turn on CNDA on your phones for call name display allowed. This is in LD 20 and is a per set CLS setting. You can use LD 80 to track calls as they come in or when they are active on a particular TN. You can also turn d-channel messaging on in LD 96 using the ENL MSGI x command where x is the d-channel number. Use DIS MSGI x to turn it off.

cls tdd cnda.. both post are right.. you stated the carrier is sending and the msgi will confirm it.. add those cls marks to any digital display set in ld 11.. you should be getting station to station name and number.. for those class marks, key 7 on a 16 has to be nul.. to get inbound clid on an analog you need a cls modem card

Msgi will confirm if he has PRI trunks. If he has T1 or loop/ground analog trunks then it's a different ballgame.

I have a PRI trunks. Thank you atascoman, johnpool and norteltx for your help. I was able to setup the caller id and to trace calls using the info got from you guys.
