In a prior post discussing a Partner ACS R7 processor, I read a comment saying "...the batteries don't do anything other than keep the "Replace Batteries with Power On" message off of Ext. 10 and 11."
Can someone elaborate a bit more about the batteries not storing the processor settings? Is this a bug or design defect - in some - or all ACS units or ? Is it still an issue with the R8's?
Thank you
