Account code in short code?

Hey There

I’m looking for a way to automatically insert an account code into a short code. Such that when a users dials a number it includes the account code. E.g they dial 54402 this dial extension 402 with an account code of 54 or something like this. I would need to dial a bunch like this (say 100). Another idea would be for the number dialled (extension number) to also be the account code. E.g user dials 54402 this calls extension 54402 and logs as account code 54402. Would like to try and keep it to 5 digits perhaps 6.

I’m trying to report on calls transferred to SCN hunt groups, and of course all I get out of the SMDR is the user in the hunt group. Customer has CCC and running 4.2

check out intertflow & intraflow in your group reports ( I can never remember which one is which).
you should not need account codes to get the information you are requesting

The hunt groups I need to report on are not in the site with CCC they are remote. I wouldn’t think these reports would report on hunt groups at another site?

No the wont report on remmote sites
in this cas you are correct that your agents will have to enter acocunt codes.

I wiould suggest you create a short code with forced account code set for each of the remote groups this will then expect an account code to be entered after the short code is dialed.
