Access Value shown on the subform 1

Hi,

Please help me on the following question:

What is the right format to access the value in the subform?

I have a Main-Form and a Sub-Form. I want to display the value in a field, Field-1, of the sub form.

I tried this way, but does not work:
MsgBox Forms![Main-Form]![Sub-Form].[Field-1]

what is wrong?

Have you tried this ?
MsgBox Forms![Main-Form]![Sub-Form].Form.[Field-1]
Note:Sub-Form must be the name of the control in Main-Form.
