I try to open a database from a shared folder, but I get a Access Pop-up message saying that --

----------------------------------------------------------
" The database blah blah ..needs to be repaired or not a database file"

You or another user have unexpectedly quit MS Access while a Microsoft Access database was open. Do you want MS Access to attempt to repair the database.?"
-----------------------------------------------------------

So If I Press YES, will I lose any information from the database or will the data get corrupted?

Any suggestion is kindly appreciated.

The data might already be corrupted. The best thing to do is to take a backup of that file and store it in another location and then repair the first one and see what happens. My personal opinion is that the repair will not corrupt the data.

I guess I already did what you said. I don't see any tables dropped or lost.

I guess I'm fine.

Thanks!!
