Hi:

Somebody has implemented CS1000 with AAM via Session and System Manager?
we have a problem with external messages.
internal messages are ok, when I make a PSTN call to extension, I can record a message, but this is not recevied by the extension

new install cs1000 rel 7.5, AAM 6.2, System 6.2, Session 6.2
seems is patch or Adapation module...


any idea?

I have done this without issue. Is this a DID call into the extension or a transferred call from the Attendant? You say you can record a message but it is not received. Do you mean the message waiting light doesn't turn on or the message is just not there? please explain

Yes, it´s a DID call,we have not Attendant, when I access to user mailbox, I have not new messages,so mwi light is off
 
So if you call the user internally it goes into her voice mail box as a new message, correct? If you call the DID # what exactly happens? Do you hear the greeting or what does it do?
 
When I make a DID call to Extension, I get the user greeting, I can record message,I can review the message before hang off.
When I access to user mailbox, I have not new messages, and mwi is off
 
Do you used some PDF to configuration?
 
I worked with Avaya integrating one a year or so ago. I dont have this issue you speak of. I know there is a CS100 adapter but if you are getting to the voice mail box and can record and review a message then I'm not sure what the issue would be.
 
What release of CS1000 y AAM do you used in that integration?
 
The CS1000 is 7.5 with 6.1 System and Session Manager. I believe the AAM is 6.1 if I remember correctly.
 
seems AAM is using the Caller ID instead of DID to resolve valid user

That very well may be true, however, you are getting to their mailbox which is strange. You may have to revise that CS1000 adapter for the 4 digit, 7 digit and 10 digit number.

That log means nothing to me really. Never seen anything like that log before.

The woman I worked with and was awesome was Margo Rogers with Avaya. She set up the AAM and Session Manager to work with AAM. I do know she is on vacation this week.

What patch do you used to CS1000?
we used SP 22
 
one thing to try is log into a different mailbox, and then record and address a message to this mailbox in question.

This will allow you to test if the message can be left via an alternate method, then you can try and isolate the issue.

I would also check the CoS for this mailbox, as well as the user settings. The user settings can be access via
login with the TUI credential and review against a working mailbox.

For the CoS - if its unique, check the time allowed for recordings. Also check that MWI is enabled.

When you address and send a message from a different mailbox, run a trace on Session Manager and look for a NOTIFY message that is directed to your extension
