Can the AA and CCR be built and edited only using a display set to do the changes on an 8X16 or must I use a PC based interface program?

Thanks!

On the Startalk & Flash it can only be setup using a display set, M7310 or M7324 or similar on the 824 KSU. The MICS or CICS maybe similar but I have not worked on those. You might check the documentation for those versions depending which system version and VM you have for your installation.

Hope this helps!

Yes the sets are the 7310's and I have been using the displays to set upi everything just fine. Now they want me to edit their AA and CCR voice tree. I found some docs but it show I need a Windows program to use it.

You can edit AA and CCR via the phone (just like a flash.) COS, on the other hand can only be edited via the browser.

My comments are in reference to call pilot. You don’t mention what VM you are referring to.

Thank you. It is a CP100. I spent some time tonight training myself. I was able to edit several functions on the AA including changing the AA Greeting. However I can not seem to be able to delete a tree. I can edit it but there is not DELETE option on the display phone.

The client only wants an initial greeting which allows the caller to enter a 3 dig. ext. or access the company dir. with #.

After playing the new greeting I am getting another greeting playing right after the initial greeting. Seems like something from the secondary tree is playing. The old tree is still there and says "enabled".

Is there a way for me to delete that tree and delete that seconday greeting?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave you willhave to disable the CCR tree before you can make any changes to it.

You don’t need to (and cant) delete the CCR trees. You either disable or enable them, as they are always there, even if you don’t use them.

To disable a CCR in phone display programming:
go to the appropriate table...
then keep hitting next until you see CCR tree X
When the display says CCR, you will notice a disable prompt underneath it.
Hit the soft key under the disable prompt, which will disable the tree.

(disable/enable is in table programming, not CCR programming)
