A incoming call ring quoestion about Mitel 5140 and SX-200.

We have 3 Mitel 4150 phones in the frontdesk. We use Sx-200. We set that if no answer, forwarding to voice box.

One question I'm not sure is that what will happened for the ring when 3 phones are all busy and there are more incoming calls. Here is options:

1) More incoming calls will keep ring the phone in order that frontdesk can hear till frontdesk put it onto LDN.

2) More incoming calls will ring a while that frontdesk can hear, then forwarded to voice box and no ring but flashing.

3) More incoming call won't ring, but make flashing on the phone in order that frontdesk can hear.

4) Above options are all possible if make a suitable setting. If so, please tell me how to make the settings. I prefer to set it as option 1.

In my opinion, a normal setting is that when 3 phones are all busy and a new call comes, this new call makes a shot ring burst, then keep flashing and not more ring. Their phone will start to ring after a phone is back to idle.

But is there a way to set that when 3 phones are all busy and a new call comes, this new call keeps all phones ringing?

If you don't have the same devices, please just share me your current settings for that if all phone are busy, a new call will ring the phones or not?

The answer depends on how the phones are configured to ring.

My best guess is that you have then configured with LDN keys

This being the case, if all phones are busy, they will each receive a burst ring and it is possible to configure them to receive multiple reminders (more burst rings)

At Form 9: desktop device assignment => expand set => key 8, 10, 12, 14, ring type setting is "Immed".
I'm not sure where I should change to make more burst rings.

Option 404 - Set to 6 seconds (yes I know it says Recording Announcement, take my word for it)
