i understand the concept of dual channel ddr(two memory controllers for double the memory bandwidth)
what i dont understand is what type of ram chips you need to use to enable dual channel. do the chips have to be specifically designed for it or will any ol chip work
as stated in a previoud post im building myself a new computer with a mobo that supports dual channel but i dont know if i need to get an expensive ram kit made specificaly for dual channel or if i can buy cheap ram chips(by cheap i just mean kingston 3200)
