Hello,

I have upgraded one of my 9641G's to the latest FW release (96x1-IPT-SIP-R6_2_2-042713)
the phone appears to be in a loop state, it keeps showing the same message "Upgrading Applications"
I have my https server - configured to server the bin files and the 46xxsettings file in the same directory.

when I power cycle to get it out of the loop - I am prompted to configure the phone, so I enter in all the static info on the phone
( I don't have a dhcp server in ths lab I am testing in) do have a HTTP server though :) Dhcp server is next on lab to do list.

ph = 10.232.50.130 /24
http = 10.232.50.108
tls = ??? 10.232.50.102 (security module) this I think is the SM or is that the Https file server.
router= 10.232.50.1
Group = 0
vlan = 0

I saw a PSN about this on the Avaya support site though it seems aimed at the 9601 sets.
looks like a PSN was written for this PSN003968u but not sure if this is applicable or not.

just curious is anyone has any thoughts on why this phone appears to be stuck in the upgrade state.

love to get this phone and the rest of my 9641's upgraded to the latest F/W.

Thanks - PR

Ok I will insure that I am not using TLS.

OK got the phone to work now, I used a different HTTP 3rd party app and it worked immediately.
I ended up using the Apache2.2 for windows = httpd-2.2.22-win32-x86-openssl-0.9.8t.msi

I moved all the 9641G upgrade files and 46xx settings file into the apache -> htdocs directory and the phone instantly came out of the loop it was in, once I rebooted it and pointed it to the fileserver. In the Logs directory you can see the files it was grabbing and the 200 - OK's for those files it used.

soooo glad that is corrected now.
