hehe nice one,
cant seem to get it going, just recycles continuously,
did you have to do anything different from the norm?

cheers

Nope. YOu have a version that has bins for it?

Manager and the IP Office choke on the large bin files that are needed for the new phones. Setup IIS on a server and throw it in there then point the phone to that server as the HTTP server.

I have upgraded the 9508, 9611, 9621 and the 9641 by the SD card without issues at all.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Yeah, 2 or 3 hansets at a time is fine from the system, many more and you need an external server ideally :)

cheers chaps
ive only the problem with the 9611,
the bin is already on our server(http)
tried 2 different handsets,1 at a time and they both just recycle, recycle, recycle, recycle.
Thought maybe there is something different with this model.
bad batch?

manually add IPs on the handset.

* To Program should appear.

Make sure you have a 46xxsettings.txt file and 46upgrade.scr file present on your http server. just copy your entire BINs, SCR, TXT's from manager over to it.

manually change VLAN Test to = 0

I had similar issue with some 9621g and 9641g handsets.

I had the same problems. Some of the 9611's I got were set to SIP and I had to manually set them to auto or H323 to get them to upgrade. Also make sure you have the 96x1Hupgrade file that matches the tar files, (the current version is R28) in your HTTP server or on the SD of your IPO. I think that was how I got them to work. The only 9611 out there are set up for CM and they run on SIP, so make sure you change that. I forget where it is to change the mode in the craft mode, but it wasn't hard to find.
Good luck!

There is a SIG option in the craft menu. If it shows "press * to program" then press * and repeatedly press # until the display shows "enter command" then press the MUTE button followed by SIG according to the characters on the keys followed by a #.
It may ask for a password which can be one of the following :
either nothing, or CRAFT or 9999.
good luck
