9611 Call History - SIP Calls

I can't seem to find anywhere how to remove the @IP ADDRESS from the centralized call logs that show up on 9611 phones. This makes it impossible to use the call log to dial back out to a missed call.

Basically they show up something like -> 18005551212@192.168.1.1 as their callerID instead of just the phone number.

No ideas on this? Looked through every setting in the firmware config, didn't see anything like this anywhere. It would be nice to dial back from call history on a VOIP set.

I think you have system set to favour line provided name over directory, I also think you are looking at the name field of the missed call log... the next line will show just the number, that's how it shows on 16xx's in that scenario anyway

Maybe I am having a brain fart - but I can't seem to find where to change that or see how it's set? I know I saw it before.. and I did try to find it in the docs.. would you mind pointing me to the place to check?

As a follow up - I changed it to get the ID from the header instead - and that worked.

I have the same issue, from the responses I couldn't fix the issue.

PhoneGuyNJ it seems like you did solve the problem - can you please elaborate how?

We are running 8.1.69 (Latest Release).

on CCR reports in the incoming call number field you would see the number as:
9562250087@64.94.196.168

Where 956 225 0087 is the phone number and 64.94.196.168 is the IP address of the server sending the call.

I think Phoneguy's and Expedia's are two different thing.

@Expedia, what do you want to come up with at your CCR? I'll be guessing it is on report representation? If so, you can eliminate the "@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" thing tru the use of Crystal Report to modify the affected report layout.

Yes, Phoneguy had a problem with the IPadress showing up in the phone log. That is not the same as having problem with the IP adress showing up in CCR. According to Avaya it is not possible to remove the IP adress from CCR Reports, so cruzades, would you please elaborate a little on how you modify Crystal Report to get it done?

I happened to view the report layout some time ago using Crystal Report, you can have it downloaded and use this application to open the report template located somewhere inside your /program/avaya/.. folder and modify the field, you may use functions to truncate string off the field to display to the report.

What we did long time ago is to eliminate/modify some text according to the like of the client.

BTW, I never said it is OK, do it at your own risk, rule of thumb... make your back-up always ready.
