9608 with BM24 Freezing 1

I have a 9608 with 2 BM24's. The 9608 is running release S6.016T (service pack 4.1) and lately the button modules keep freezing up. In other words, they show the names that are set but the buttons will not activate. After each freeze we have restarted the phone (everything after the reboot works fine) then a short while after the reboot the problem accurs again.

Is this a known issue with the button module or is there something else that I am missing?

This is in fact part of a larger group of known issues with the 96xx phones. Avaya has a special team of developers working on these issues and if you call Avaya they will open a ticket and add you to the list of customers with problems.

I have seen several variations of this problem and we have found that if you wait 10 minutes or so the phone will actually return to normal function.

Our users call this the sticky button problem.

This has nothing to do with bugs!
You need the bm12, the bm24 is not supported on the new 9600 serie phones.

Turns out that it is the BM12, it has 2 pages.
 
Then it is a known issue as mentioned :)
