I've scoured the posts but didn't find anything in relation to my inquiry, but I apologize if this has been hashed out endlessly - feel free to admonish me and point me to old posts.
The problem - IPO Release 7 and 8 (7.0.5, 7.0.27, and 7.0.31 and R8.0.18) my 9500 series phones (9504 and 9508) do not have the same call logging as do 5400 series phones. For example, if I have the 5420 and the 9508 in a hunt group and then call that hunt group - only the 5420 phone shows the missed call in the history. That my customer can live without, but it just adds to the quirky behavior. The biggest issue - if I call the 5420 extension from the auto attendant, the call shows in the 5420's history, but if I dial the 9508's extension from voice mail nothing appears in the log. Now, I know I can check off the coverage log in the system / telephony tab, but then that shows history for EVERYONE and not just that individual's phone. With the default box checked and the other 2 unchecked, why would the 5420 continue to log calls unlike the 9508?
