All,

Hello we had a number port to a new PRI the other day. We went to test 911 however when calling out. The site was not able to dial 911 or 9911. I checked in LD 90 the (AC1) the SPN and it did not pull up anything on the PBX. As well it did not show any other SPN besides SPN 911 I find that odd.

My other sites do have SPN showing on the system.

Here in VA

SPN 911
FLEN 0
INPL NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 3
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

And for NPA LD 90 for the site that has the SPN(VA) and the other (MA)none working.

VA
Has no NPA 1911
RLI X
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

MA-none working 911
no NPA 1911
RLR x
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

What am I missing to get it to work?
I am unsure if it worked before we had to change carriers, and unsure what the vendor we had for years before they were off the contract would not have it in there.

All are sites are the same systems. So I would think have similar programming at least in the case for 911 service if needed at the location.

Thank you in advance.

On a similar note would SPN also affect not dialing internationally?
I figure since I dont see any programmed SPN in LD 90 that it could also affect this as well.

Just a thought.

See if the ESA Data block is configured in LD 24.

Check your ESA and see if you have an SPN of 11? Did 911 work before the port?

It does not have ESA (ld24)when I checked the site in Boston and my site in VA.

Also the site here in VA has a SPN - My site in MA has no SPN at all.
SPN 911
FLEN 0
INPL NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 3
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

What is required for your phones to dial an outside line? I noticed that your FLEN is set to 0. Your system doesn't know how many digits to dial for 911... Here is an example of ours for our TX location...

SPN 1039911
FLEN 7
ITOH NO
CLTP NATL
RLI 57
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

I think you may need a FLEN of at least a 3 since your SPN is 911.

USArmy,

That is my site in VA I was trying to compare what is missing between my system here and the one in MA.

MA has no SPN at all on the system.

I think I have it!

SPN 911
FLEN 0
INPL NO
CLTP NONE
RLI 0
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE
