I was always led to believe that the EMS center uses data from the D-Channel not the caller ID data. This data is not configurable Even if you change the called id data it won't matter. Like I said this is what I was led to believe. I could be wrong?
Hardware platform? Definity / CM software version?
Are you using NI2 on your isdn trunks and does your provider allow you to send calling number to
the called destination?
Does your provider send your BTN (Billing telephone number)
A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"
No they are using e911. It is using the caller DID to get the address from the Verizon E911 database. These are Verizon SIP trunks.
The issue is that the DIDs are in a different rate center in Verizon. We just moved these DIDs from the old location to the new location. When users are calling 911 its going to the old location 911 disaptcher at the old address. Verizon updated the database with the new location address but it goes by what phone number you are calling from.
So I'm looking to change the outbound Caller ID on these numbers just when they dial 911 not on any other calls? Is that possible?
