9.1 Passing originating caller ID on twinning and call forward with Nextiva SIP trunks

I have a system with 9.1.0.437 using Nextiva SIP trunks. Everything works fine except sending the originating caller ID on call forwarding and twinning. Any one every use Nextiva and has this working?

Are you using the twinning under system tab to send original calling party information or On the SIP line send caller ID?

the twinning under system tab to send original calling party is unchecked, and the "Forwarding and Twinning, Send Originator number is blank with Send Caller ID as P Asserted ID. But I have tried all of the settings, and none seem to work.

I upgraded a system from 8.1 to 9.1 and this broke.This system is using a different carrier.None of the settings under SIP advanced resolved this to get this back working.
I'm going to SP 1 next week and I'll let you know if this resolves the issue.

It's only dialtone!!!

After upgrade from 9.0 to 9.1 i can't send the originator caller id

wonder if it happens on PRI circuits also if so then it's not just something under the SIP settings.

Update:
SP1 did not resolve my issue.

It's only dialtone!!!

Do they actually allow it? Some companies require you to sign a contract/waiver absolving them of responsibility if you start spoofing numbers you don't own or have received an active call from...:)

yes. most SIP trunk providers I have worked with do allow spoofing and passing original caller ID info. I got the twinning to pass the caller ID, just not thew call forwarding.

Since this was working for people before you may not need this info but I always have to enable SIP ALG on the router for Original CID to go through (of course I have to make sure the carrier is enabling it too). Sometimes the SIP ALG corrects a no voice issue on forwarding as well.

If the IPO is on a public IP it is not a problem. I haven't had any trouble on 9.1 so far--8.1 to 9.1 have all worked.

I am in the same boat. I got the SIP trunk to work with Nextiva but i want to send my own caller ID out. They have no clue on how to set it up on AVAYA ip office. I am doing this for a test before I decide to move my POTS lines and port them to Nextiva. AVAYA Dev connect does not list Nextiva but they do list Level 3. Should I find a reseller that uses level3? Or does somone know how to send caller id out that we specify?

In your short code for dial 9, are you sending Ns8185551212? i.e. the caller id?
Try a short code in the user without the Ns8185551212. i.e. just N.

Yes I tried that. I had a N n the number section. I also created a Sip ARS.
Dialing just keep getting the number that is registered for the sip trunk number.
I had Nextiva send caller Id name out. That works fine from the carrier. Could it be in the sip line setup? URS tab?

Jeff, sorry for the late reply. No I'm not using Nextiva. Mostly use ATT or Enswitch SIP.
