Hello All , we had a funny one , 2 X 8600 ,IST between and various 5500 switches hanging off them MLT,s but not SMLT.
Various servers on various subnets unable to ping each other ,then couple days later they can ? with no changes made ?
It seems I think to hinge around a 8648gtr blade in one of the 8600,s.
The offending servers will pick up next morning and then others may drop off ?

Ver 4.0.2.1 on each 8600,s and ver 5.1.1 on 5500,s
Any help much appreciated.

I had similar issues - if you look at the MAC addresses involved, you will see that the 5500s are putting the MAC address for the local device against their uplink port instead of against the edge port where it is patched in.

Fixed by upgrading the code.

Big Help this guys , will look into it ,sorry for the late reply but been on holiday.
Big thanks
