800 number mapping

I have a Definity G3i and am trying to switch the extension that one of our 800 numbers gets mapped to. The thing is that I can't, for the life of me, figure out how. I can't even find the 800 number anywhere. How can this be done?
 
You need to know the DNIS digits your provider is sending to the switch for
each 800 number. Below are some examples one way to re-route the calls. If
the DNIS digits match your dialplan, then you may not find an entry on the
incoming call handling treatment admin.
DNIS = Dialed Number Identification Service
most providers can send any number of digits to help match your dialplan.

If you need more info, please supply your Definity software version
and identify the trunk-group type (isdn, tie)

The trunk group type is DID
 
From what I can see, there is no Incoming Call Handling Treatment section
 
inc-call-handling-trmt is for isdn trunks

list trace tac xxx (where xxx is the trunk access code for your DID trunk group)
dial the 800 number and see if the incoming call shows the DNIS digits on your SAT.

If you know the DNIS digits, they can route to station, listed directory number, hunt-group, vdn, etc. You can use the object assigned to change the routing.

you either re-route calls to 299 using coverage, uniform dialplan, vectoring, etc.

If you want different DNIS digits sent to the PBX, call your 800 service provider

Ok, so there is no way to just change the extension in the PBX itself? It is hardwired through the telco?
 
800 number in the public network routes to your DID trunks and when an incoming call
seizes the DID trunk, the provider sends 299.

As explained above, you CAN change routing for 299 in your pbx. If you don't like it you need to have your provider send some other DNIS / DID digits.

What is 299 in your pbx? station, vdn, hunt-group, LDN ?

299 is a station in our PBX. The user switched job responsibilities and the 800 # needs to go to another extension.
