I have an AVAAY 1616, when I use its Visual Voice interface and get to listen, nothing happens when I press on 'listen' basically. I just get a bleep and screen stays there.

I already tried to delete user and extension but to no avail.

I tested the phone on another IP500v2 unit and it worked fine.

Anyone encountered this before pls? Thanks in advance.

is the visual voicemail programmed against a button? or are you using it through the feature button to access it?

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.
 
I have more or less the same problem on a 9630 IP Phone, listening to new messages is OK but old and saved messages cannot be played with Visual Voice, with *17 there is no problem. IPO 500V2 8.1.73.
