I've got two sites. One in and running 8-0-53 + VMPRO server with corresponding version and another to go in running 8-0-46 w UC module connecting over an SCN. Will this work or does the site with the UC have to be upgraded to 8-0-53? I would just upgrade it but I don't have the HDMI monitor to upgrade the UC module right now. (there are no 9508 sets at the 8-0-46 site)

Thanks!

either release is no good for you
VM Pro on more than 1 site in a SCN is not supported and I experiences it first hand that it can have unwanted problems with the vm.
You can use one of the other modes for VM or use shortcode dialing instead of SCN

Give a tech a solution and he will be back tomorrow to ask you the next question, teach a tech how to read the manual and he will be able to solve the problems for a life time.

What is the UCM doing?
You should not have 2 VM servers in a SCN normally although it works fine.
Yes you can have two different versions in a SCN as long it is N + 1 or N - 1

N means in this case 8.0

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Hi guys thanks for the replies. I ended up figuring out I don't need the HDMI monitor to do an upgrade so I'm downloading the files as I write.

For the why I just don't know why they've ordered a VMpro server and a UC module at the other site.....

Cheers!
