New IP Office 500 V2 8.0 (44). I Have Embedded Mail and the Inactivity set to 8. But instead of going to my Fallback for the ICR, it just disconnects. System has 4 Analog Lines attached and ring into the Main Group. Each phone has line appearances. He just loves to see all of those calls on Hold. My fallback is set to Collective Group. Any ideas guys?

You need to set teh group as the timeout destination and not as fallback in the ICR.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

From the help button: Maximum Inactivity: Default = 8 seconds; Range = 1 to 20 seconds. Release 3.0+.
This field sets how long after playing the prompts the Auto Attendant should wait for a valid key press. If exceeded, the caller is either transferred to the Fallback Extension set within the Incoming Call Route used for their call or else the caller is disconnected.

47 years in the business and counting.

the inactivity timer is for autoattendand and it is only used if a caller does not make a choice from the programmed options.
if it rings the main group then the destination is reachable so in icr it will never goes to the fallback destination.
what do you want to happen?

A simple mind delivers great solutions
