Just checking. I have an 8.0 upgrade license. The IP Office is currently 7.0. I have Manager 10.1 on my computer. If I download the binaries for 8.0 and change the bin directory to the location of the downloaded 8.0 binaries I should be able to upgrade the IP Office to 8.0 correct?

But that will it include the bin files for the handsets, so if they want to upgrade they will not be able to find the files :)

Too bad Avaya won't provide those phone downloads a la carte. It would save a lot of time downloading.

When in doubt, just keep upgra.. er..downgrading! LOL :)

I've asked them to provide a download for the MemoryCards folder. As you can see, they don't want to!!!

Upgrading an IP500v2 with the worng Manager sends the worng files to the SD card unless you replace the MemoryCards folder with the correct one.

Just create your own if you do it a lot.

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I do now, I have a 64gb mem stick with loads of manager versions, bin files, memory card folders, docs cd's etc etc....lifesaver :)
