For who wants to try the sntp time server i have two timeservers that work for me.
You only have to add them.

ntp1.appstate.edu ntp2.appstate.edu

The space is needed in between those two time server address.

I think i have turned on some logging or so :)

My linux machine has a full drive which is 71GB :)
The webpage isn't working anymore with an error 28 (full disk)

I've had a PB for an issue I had but it didn't fix it, in fact I don't think anything changed at all except the build number.....that's all the action I've had :)

Unfortunatly I am not going to be able to get my hands on thios until it goes GA :-(

As I am a bit of a linux fan I am wondering how much access do you get to the underlying distro( Centos I believe which is efectivly rhel without the support)?

What software comes pre installed & does the package manager have the standard repositorys available?

what web server & database engines are installed? is PHP available.
once this is up and running I expect there will be plenty of scope for creating some add on tools & utilities that could make our jobs as maintainers much easier

as a quick tip dnsmsq is a nice lightweight DHCP server that also supplys tftp services which could take some of the load of the IPO for firmware files. & ssh with port forwarding should help with remote maintanence :)

Communication Manager Branch Edition (the product that already exists) is not the same thing as IPO Branch Edition. It's like an LSP (but based on IPO software rather than CM).

Re Linux: you get root access, but I can't check anything else as our box is currently turned off.

'This' being 6.1 in general. Quite a few problems me thinks.

Tried some stuff and indeed sometimes the ipo reboots or the 9600 phones reboot or get stuck :)
I am going to do some stress testing next week and write down some bugs.

Root access is good, I should be able to add anything else needed from there.

Does the root password have to remain fixed or is it ok to change it (leaving the root password as a default is just asking for trouble!)

You need to give it a password when you are installing it

tlpeter, you say you have a full disk somewhere, you can check for bugs and report those: web interface -> logs -> download -> debug files -> create archive. Download and report any files there.

I know but those two files, who filled up the disk, where 35Gb each :)
I just reinstalled it.
I was not the only one, some one else reported this too.

The first one did it.
I cannot remember which files, too long ago :)

Have they broke the Personal options menu in the latest incarnation of VM Pro 6.1 ? In both IP Office and Intuity mode it takes you to the normal mailbox login, using the legacy play configuration works fine :)

May be my poo laptop though :)

Intuity has a new menu with extra option.
IPO mode has the old style. which should work fine although i did not test it lately.

In both IP Office and Intuity mode using the personal options menu just logs you into your normal mailbox i.e you have no new messages etc. As oppose to listing the options as it should :)

Tell me how you do have it setup ?
I am going to try it too.

Just a module (called "Test" in my case) personal options menu straight from that with or without pin, set to Callers Mailbox, dialling a shortcode to take you to the module works fine in the legacy config menu but setting it to Personal options menu just take you into your own mailbox :) Don't waste too juch time, I fear it's vista oddness :)
