5602SW Problem

Hi,
I have a problem with 5602SW IP Phone : I never seen the callerID.
On line a = hour and date
On line b = Extension number
When sommeone call me, its identity is never shown.

Any idea ?

Do you see Caller ID on your other phones in the system?

Yes
on DT phones, Analog Phones and 5610SW Phones there is no problem

do you have something else than call appearance buttons programmed on those two lines ???

a 56xx series phone doesn't show time and date by it's selfs
that if programmable
check this in manager if you can

But what can I do with Manager ?
In User --> Call Appearance, I have only
1: Appearance
2: Appearance
That's all ...

I don't understand ...

in manager you should see appearance and the phonenumber should be : a=
the second one should be appearance and b=
if it is check all the users
maybe something isn't right

I looks like the Time of Day feature is active.
Try this

Program temporarily on the second button 'time of day' instead of the appearance b button.
When merged press button b once to turn off the time of day feature. If you get a normal display on the 5602 now this was the problem.
Then reprogram button b to appearance b.

I had this problem. I solved it by upgrading the IP Office using different Admin CD. Then I have uprgaded the phones one by one through the Manager application and came back to normal.

mikem501 : I think you're right ... this is the last solution. But what release ? I'm in 3.1.48
