54xx/56xx Handests

Morning

When Avaya release the new major release of software e.g 9.2 or 10 does anuone know if the the 54xx/56xx handsets will be supported. Heard on the grapevine that they wont does anyone know any different

They'll very likely still work, they just won't be supported if they don't, or if they develop a bug. They don't want to know about it.

The Avaya 56xx series continue to work with the current IPO R9.x. ---- R10.x or R11.x of IPO might not be supported.

We have a customer on 9.1.4 with 25 ancient 6408 digital phones and in Manager and SSA there are errors about "these phones are not supported" but these phones work just fine.
