I have an IPO 403 with no expansion modules and five 5410's that work fine. Recently added 2 new 5410's. Neither set will register; they simply display a message that states 'please wait' Any Idea's? I could buy 1 bad set, 2 seems unusual
Set the tftp server ipadres in the system tab
Open manager on that pc
Plug in the new phones

That was only with a certain serial number
If the distributor did send those they are stupid
They had to send those back to Avaya and would have gotten replaced
This is already a while ago so i do not think this is the case
A phone will not downgrade if there is no tftp server

Problem identified as being the firmware load on the sets, the serial numbers are in the range of the defective ones manufactured late last year. The vendor and I are having a serious conversation.
Implemented the temp fix but this probably didn't sole the problem as software level is to low.
That is going to be a serious conversation
You did get old phones that should not have been given anyway
