4x16 combo card on bcm 450

Can you install a 4x16 on a bcm450 ? its the card that will not work so far on this 450 it shows enabling no matter what slot its in exp or main. thanks

have you plugged in a phone set?
applied a line to it?
some modules don't say enabled until they see something on it.

mostly need the 4 lines working and have not attempted or even that concern with the digital sets. its keeping my butt

if the digital ext'ns are functioning, the module should not say "enabling" now?

dumb question, you have verified d.t. on the pair before it goes into the bcm?
assigned the phone your using access to the pool/route of the combo card trunks?

dt on all lines but when I go to acces that line Not In Service

are you programming the correct line port to the set. BCM's don't start at 001, I know the BCM50 starts on line 064 not sure on the BCM450

Performed reboot and still no dt!! The bcm gives me lines 59 to 62. I also have 2 dtm working as well but need these 4 lines to be working. This doesnt make any since cause the digital exts work and the lines are labeled in the system as loop on those ports but when I access them it says not in service with the fast busy......[tt][/tt]

the system says the lines are enabled (under state) and 4 lines (under active)?

all your dip switches are on?

if you have 2 dtm mbm's functioning those lines should be first (i'm pretty sure 1-61 is reserved for voip trunks, maybe that was on 4.0)

punched down in the right location on your bix field (or do you have mod cord plugins directly into the mbm)?

System is giving me enabling state for the lines and card is the plug in with the rj11. The pri is 0 to 48. And then voip lines and then the loop

would it be the Amphenol cable?

No cable for this card it has the 4 plug in for the lines

had an old 3x8 with a bad port was able to put a toner on the line port and confirm

it really seems like this is either a dipswitch issue or the system is not getting the dt?
can you plug the mod cord right into your buttset?
system has the latest patches?

have you tried/are you able to replace the combo card... maybe it's defective.

Has dt and dips are according to element manager but will considered card

back to basic, when you log in via Element Manager does it actually say 4X16 for that port?

Have you cabled out the Harness corectly.

Sorry i didn,t see the post regarding NO Cable, using the jacks in front of the card
