4x16 combo card on bcm 450

Can you install a 4x16 on a bcm450 ? its the card that will not work so far on this 450 it shows enabling no matter what slot its in exp or main. thanks

You say that you have the dip switch settings as per the manual! What are they? Looking at the back of the module, the switch bank on the left side must have all the switches in the up (ON) position and the bank on the right side must all be in the off (DOWN) position, unless this card is installed in the expansion module. In that case, the system will tell you how it wants the switches set. You really need to verify this first. If they are all correct, best bet is to try a known working module because as Wally says, it's either a switch setting issue or a dial tone issue from the carrier.

What slot is this in? What are the location of the MBM's in the BCM now, is there an expantion cabinet involved?

Main unit all dsm32 and all working. Exp cabinet is slot-1 thru slot-3 dsm 32 and all working. Slot 4 4x16, slot 5 thru slot 6 DTI and all working. Combo digital station is working but not the 4 port trunk lines.....new combo is on the way for replacement and will update then....thx

In the expantion the switches are used and need to be set for slot 4 from what the resources screen say the setting is for the switches..
