4620 IP not showing date & time

I've seen this before, but be darned if I can remember how to fix it.
I have 4620's that are not displaying the time & date on the top line, only
EXT#:User Name G

I'm using the same button config as the 9630/9608/9620 phones AND those are the same settings on the 5410 desksets.
All the other models (96xx, 5410 and 4412) are showing the date and time properly.

The 4620 manual specifically states that the top line will display the date and time when idle, so I know I'm clearly missing something.
Any ideas?

I would try a Time of Day button. A lot of the older sets don't show the time and date by default.

Oh well, I only have to give up one button for it.

And forget about the manual, since the 4620 is for the CM. Not IP Office. although they do work.

Okkie, the 4620 is supported on IP Office. Yes, it doesn't get any new features but it works because it is meant to work.

I think his point is that the "user guide" for the 4620 may mention the time and date being displayed but it's a maunual for the CM/Definity so contains incorrect information. As the OP is probably unaware that the 5620 is an almost identical IP Office equivalent he's unlikely to have downloaded that manual
