4610 Speakerphone over VPN Issue.

Dear All,

I currently have an issue:

1. 4610 connected over a VPN from a remote site, in the Us with <70ms ping times.
2. The phone connects to IP Office fine and works as a normal handset should.
3. The speaker, when used, is always muted. The light on the phone shows this, but it cannot be turned off. Consequently, the phone cannot be used handsfree.

Has anyone seen this before, and more importantly, have they fixed it!

what software is is RothMan? I know of 4.1 you can disable the speakerphone.

Have you tried resetting the phone, delete the extension & user, save, create them again and log in.

Sounds like a software error on the phone rather than vpn problem...

We are using an IP Office 406 V1 with 3.2.7. The extension is dynamically created.

Odd thing is, if we try this across a routed connection it works fine, but the moment we switch to a WAN connection with higher latency, the issue appears!

I have attached our settings file with irrelevant and sensitive bits left out:

We have tried this with two different 4610 handsets but get the same result.

Also, we have turned off Direct Media Path.

Is the 3.2.7 a typo?
The earliest GA version I know of is the 3.2.17.

I would try upgrading to the latest 3.2.61.
3.2.17 wasn't the best release after a pretty stable 3.1.65.
