4610 freeze

same problem here. i was able to make ping test from board to phone ip-address in ASA. also able to ping the phone. happening randomly everyday.. really affecting the operation of my call center.

thanks for the help in advance.
 
Hi

I think you need to check your POE. If too many IP phones are plugged into a data switch and the power is over subscribed, the ethernet port on the data switch will be blocked automatically. In this case the IP phones will still look functional from a display point of view but if you try to initiate a call you will not even receive dial tone.
Check the power usage per phone and check the POE power delivery of the data switch.
On a Cisco switch you can lock the power down per port eliminating these issues. We usually lock them down at 7Watt per port which covers the 4621 and 4610 phones
 
i am using individual avaya power adaptor for my ip phones, no POEs.
