3300 SIP Domain

Hi,

Is it possible on a 3300 to show the FQDN instead of the system IP address on SIP line-side calls?

When SIP devices call each other I see extn@IP-Address I really need this to be extn@Domain. I have set a hostname and domain on 3300 but with no joy. Internally this would not be a major problem but calls outside need to resolve to the domain name.

I think you set this in your SIP peer profile.

Good call but SIP peer if for trunks not line-side.

Within the SIP software of the phone, if you complete the Domain information, this should then send the domain name in the SIP header
