This is my first 3300 ICP install and im having a rough time.

I upgraded it to 14.0.0.95 with the sw installer successfully. Then I programmed the IP info on it, and registered 2 IP phones to it.

I was then trying to program the AMB but it wasnt accepting the PLID so I was going back through the install docs, I serialed into the system, and logged into vxworks and confirmed the info in the boot menu.

All looked well so I selected boot and go, and then it got stuck on "Error 132 Bytes (Partial Record).

When it finally came back up all my users and IPs I programmed were lost. I tried restoring from a backup I had done recently, and it brought back my IPs but not my user data, and im still getting the error below:

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks,

Eric

Looks like vm info is corrupt. You could try to extract it from your backup and restore it. I don't have the kb article on manual emem backup and restore but Miyel Online should still have it if you can find it.

Holy wall of text Batman

First off - run the maintenance command DBMS Save

If you didn't do this initially, this is why you lost your programming

Start over.

All, Thanks for the tips. W was able to figure it out, I had accidentally messed up the bootline, and it was booting from the default partition 1, and not 4 where my active 8.0 software lived. After correcting and booting, my sys came up, with my database programming!!
