Hello everyone,

I have an IPO 8.0, the customer is looking for the caller id of a second call to come across the display while they are on the first call. Is this possible? And where do look to set it up?

Thanks in advance

Depends on the phone. 14xx/16xx, use the down arrow to view the ringing call information. Hit the up arrow to go back to the original caller's information.

Like Telecomboy said. Depends on the phone and also the release of software your system is... Newer versions allows you to go to the user/ telephony/ Multi line option and change attention ring to Ring

My bad!
Let's see if I figure out how to do this
Great response time
stars for both

You could try but i think you can.
The 5420 has enough space to show more information.
It will be shown on the call appearance anyway.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

There's no down button on the 5420 and the left/right buttons just change the buttons displayed. What would be the equivalent to "down" on the 5420 phone?

The only way I've been able to figure out to see a call coming in is to press the call button and turn on "Answer Pre-Select" under user> telephony.

Doing that puts the first call on hold while displaying the second call information and does not answer unless you press the button again. I'd like to see the call information without putting the first call on hold.

What? No firmware upgrade to add physical up/down buttons to the face of the phone? ... Just like Avaya....

Seriously, though. I'm surprised there isn't a way to show call waiting ID information on all phones without putting caller on hold.
