1403 digital question

Hello,

I have a 1403 digital phone that won't allow me to logout of it. When I press *36 it says, "Call rejected" The short code works fine on every other model of phone but this one. Is there another method to log this phone out?

Yes the appearance is programmed. If I plug a 1408 to the same line it works w/o a problem.
