I have multiple prefixes in my block of DIDs. According to this thread798-1418177 I'm assuming I would need to create a seperate HLCL entry for each prefix sequence and assign the 4 digit extn number as it would relate to the respective entry, correct?
in other words entry 1 shows for 972422, but I would need an entry 2 for 972263

current is listed below...

ENTRY 0
HNTN
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 9724228678
DIDN NO
HLOC
LSC

ENTRY 1
HNTN 972
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 972422
DIDN YES
HLOC
LSC

yep... enter the key as key 0 scr xxxxx 2 to reflect that entry..

Yep. Default table, what is set up when switch is installed is CLID table 0. If you have a block of say 10 phones that need a differant number sent, create a new clid entry (next number in line) then change all those phones
key 0 scr 1234 2

hmmm... I tried it with my set and it still doesn't show. am I missing something in class of service?

it'll only work on an outbound call, what are you getting?

Need to dial 9+ to see it. If you just 4 digit dial, you will see the ext calling not the outbound clid

no, I'm dialing to a B1 inside my site but outside my switch. all that shows is my same prime DN for here.

gator coffee,

You will need to go into LD 22 and at the request print the CLID.Once you see what entries you have you will need to build in LD 15 like the above postings mentioned. So if you need an entry to display 972-263-xxxx you will need to build that in LD 15 ,also if these are DID's you need to set it at yes.

Thanks,

May want to either turn msgo on, for your d-channels or trac the call in ld 80 to see exactly what you are pushing. You may not be sending all 10 digits so by default your carrier is sending the lead number of your circuit.

Print the TNB of the phone you are testing and also the CLID table.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Also when you do get it working, on key 1 which is NON-DID you need to put a D instead of a 0

01 SCR 2061 0 MARP

01 SCR 2061 D MARP This way if you use Key 1 to make a call it will send the CLID of Key 0

so your "0" gets the main DID presenting and "1" gives full display?

I wonder if it would work by just taking the additional numbers out of the CLID and left the 3 digits in each.

No 0 gives the 648 and DN and 1 gives 675 and DN

What is showing? Turn on Messaging on in LD 96 and ensure your a sending the CLID out of your switch correctly.
