I have an operator that I want to answer all calls for a pool(T-1 lines 829-852). Obviously when I add the pool it adds the whole t-1 as separate lines on her phone. I only need approx 5-6 line appearace buttons for answering calls on this pool. Any ideas on how to make this work? Thanks!
Thanks merlinman!
They will be keeping two analog lines for alarm, they also use those lines in hunt to call in direct to voicemail to get their messages.
Do you by chance have a cheat sheet for programming dss t1's in a legend?
Look in Group Coverage, your exts are probably in group cover 30 or 1(this is normally what I use). Do an inspect to see which cover group they are in now and then add the new ext number to that group.
Extentions, more, Group Coverage, try 30 or 1, enter, put in the ext number you want, enter
Installing a DSS T1 on a Merlin Legend R7
Line provider wants to know the following from me:
Wink Start Yes or No?
Ground Start or Loop Start?
DTMF Yes or No?
One more thing I thought I would mention, I will have a few blocks of DID's on this T-1
Help with setting up the ARS tables would be appreciated. All phones are 3 digit ext numbers.
Does anyone have info on programming a straight t1 for a merlin legend system? I haven't done this for many years and now have a client that is adding one to their system.
System will be a legend r7 cke5(magix style in legend clamshell), I am adding a 100dcd t1 board(magix style in legend...
Customer has two separate Merlin Magix phone systems, I have them programmed and networked together by a point to point T-1. They now want to eliminate the T-1 and connect the two systems with fiber. The phone systems are in the same city, just two different buildings. Have any of you out there...
Have a client that wants to be able to transfer an answered call to a different number outside of the system. They have a business in a different state and need to be able to transfer the call there. This system is set up with a T-1 for lines. Any ideas on how to make this work?
Working on a R8 ACS, call comes in on line one and only rings ext 10. Client at ext 12 wants to answer the call that is ringing on line one but their phone is set to No Ring. They want to be able to touch line one and pick up the call but can't. What do I need to change in the programming to do...
merlinman,
If the first and second TTR's are bad won't the customer have other problems like VM lights not turning off, transfers going to wrong ext, etc? I haven't heard of any other issues other than problems getting in on the DID's.
I forgot to mention I did have some DID interdigit...
Got a customer with 3 analog DID trunks. They have complained that sometimes the DID calls do not go through. I have tested the voltage and on all 8 DID ports and it tests about 45 volts. Polarity and wink are fine. When I tested the TTR's though I could not break intercom tone for TTR 1 and 2...
Thanks for the info merlinman. One more question. Are the ring gens located in the top part of the power supply? I opened the 391c1. It appears there is a spot for a square circuit board to be installed at the top of the power supply.
I'm about to replace power supplies for an old Merlin Legend in a large hotel. I'm also replacing the current processor with R7 and installing 007MLM. The current system has 3 old power supplies(3 cabinet legend). The first power supply has a line cord going from it to an aux power supply box...
I have a client that needs all incoming calls to ring on their paging system. They have an avaya 35watt amp (http://support.avaya.com/edoc/docs/bogen/bopaiu1.pdf). I have ext 17 going to the amp. The tel and com of control are shorted together. This obviously prevents the ringing to happen over...
Got a client with an Intuity that is down. Talked to three different tech support people. One is telling me the 6 port card is bad in the Intuity. The status of 0-5 on the intuity is *Broken. I took the VM apart, pulled the 6 port card out and put it back in. Powered up, same results. When I...
