I have a Legato Networker server 7.2 Windows and a Netapp filer. we are trying to backup the filer and I keep getting cannot contact NDMP server. All root passwords and logins are set correctly. Any sugesstions out there????
Im running a STK9710 with 6 SDLT drives. While backups run flawless until I need to label a tape, once the tape is labeled and does verify and moves 1 all other drives with backups in progress hit the fsf error and then they are marked full resulting in needing a new tape.

Ok well here is a new one for you, I can backup all day long but as soon as I need to label a tape. BAM all tapes go to the fsf error and need new tapes as if the capacity is reached on them. Any ideas?
Ive been running 6.2 and thinking it was legato and have been going thru tapes like water as well. So its the firmware on the SDLTs??? Ive checked and checked cables tons of times on everything. What version are you running on legato with the updated firmware?
This sometimes happens I notice if nsrck is going on. If you check Task Manager you should see nsrck processes running. Ours usually runs for about 20 mins. You will also lose connectivity when backing up the bootstrap.
