I have a strange problem. Yesterday I installed a Ricoh printer on my NT (NT4 SP6a) network using an AXIS print server. I mapped the new printer to each workstation on the network.
My problem is some of the workstations share a local printer. Example Workstation A has a DeskJet directly...
Having a problem with an NT PDC. The system is creating directories in the WINNT folder called wfvX where X is a number starting at 1 and going up. Most of the directories are empty. They all seem to be created during the nightly Virus Scan. Anyone seen this before? Im running NT 4 SP6a, and...
Darn, ok I went and tried
no ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 dialer 1
then
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 ETH 0
knocked me out. Counldnt connect at all after that.
This was ARP table after change
Gateway of last resort is 0.0.0.0 to network 0.0.0.0
216.170.138.0/24 is variably subnetted, 2 subnets...
Actully I do need to route to the inside also. I have a web server and Mailserver that need to accept incoming connections. they have address of 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.1. This is the reason I want to keep the dial up line working. For now at least.
Gateway of last resort is 0.0.0.0 to network 0.0.0.0
* 216.xxx.138.0/24 is variably subnetted, 2 subnets, 2 masks
C* 216.xxx.138.0/24 is directly connected, Ethernet0
S 216.xxx.138.1/32 is directly connected, Ethernet0
C 10.0.0.0/8 is directly connected, Ethernet1...
That makes sense. I tried the command:
ip route 216.xxx.xxx.0 255.255.255.0 E0
Still connecting at Modem speed. :(
I guess my major problem is that I also still have the old dial-up settings in the router. It's like this because I'm trying to maintain a connection with the Internet while...
I tried the shift-print screen, problem is the program runs with a black backround and green text, which is not changable. Was hoping to save a little black ink, know of any third party DOS emulators that are a little more robust then the one used in Win 2K?????
I have an older DOS based application that I need to print screens out of it. In WIN98 hitting SHIFT+PRINT SCREEN would print the information on the screen. Now in WIN2K it won't work. Is there any way I can force it to do so. Maybe some entry I need to put into the config.nt file or something?
I have a 1605 R that I need to get hooked up to my new DSL line. It currently is connected to a Dial_up account through a WAN card. What I would like to do is connect eth0 to my DSL modem, and leave eth1 connected to my Local LAN. I am serioulsy confused as to what to change. I have 2 static...
What services does NETLOGON depend on to Start. Or does any one know where I can look to find out. I need to get this started so users can logon to server.
Basically what happend is, one of my interns, ran Ghost and selected "Remove from Domain" as an option. THen when he couldnt get back in he rebooted and everytime I try and log in I get the error, Unable to login because netlon service is not running"
Once I do that how do I get it back as the PDC for the domain. THe only way I have been able to log on so far is by using an Emerg. Boot Partiton, but that doesnt give me any access to the former domain. It only lets me log into the "DOMAIN" domain.
Somehow my PDC got removed from the domain and not I can't even log in because I net logons service isnt running. Any ideas of help... plase I need help.
Any thing along those lines would work. Some of the jobs we estimate only have 3 or 4 items, so there is no need to print out 150 rows parts that wont get used
SOBAK,
I just tried that out, do I have to put the commands in front of the info I cut and paste in? DO I have to do it one line at a time. I tried it out on a test ACL first, and this is what I got:
Made this list:
Standard IP access list 1
permit any
deny all
This is what I...
