SanDisk Tech Support says that no drivers are necessary as they are built into Windows 2000 Professional. I tried the installation CD and downloaded the latest drivers from the SanDisk site but nothing would work. Can you tell me where I can get the FirmWare Update?
Thanks
Thanks for your feedback. I don't however, think the problem is the size of the card as I can copy files from the command prompt. I'll call SanDisk tomorrow and see what they say.
I also run W2K Pro with an HP 5370 USB scanner and have never had a problem.
I can suggest several things to do.
If you have a W2K Rescue Disk you could boot from the W2K CD and check the repair function to see if that works.
You can use Add/Remove Hardware and Add/Remove Programs to effect...
I'm running W2k with 1.5MB memory, Parallel laser printer, USB Epson Stylus Color 925 printer, USB HP ScanJet 5370C, USB Prime Film 1800u Film Scanner, USB Microsoft Trackball Explorer, USB Logitech 4000 Webcam, a mouse-port connected scroll mouse, and a USB Zip250.

I was slightly off on my price. It's about $170.
Sorry for my presumptions. To be honest, I thought that the figure I quoted is about what I paid. Will check and get back to you. I scan into Photoshop and get great 8 x 10's on my HP 1215 printer.
Don't know if you're an amateur or how sophisticated you are with photography and Photoshop. I am using a Prime Film 1800u Scanner that costs arount $150 or less. Gives me good photo's from 35mm slides
Victor, Thank you for your suggestions. Fortunately I have GoBack installed and I reverted to a spot free from all the problems I wrote about. Disk Management now reports everything correctly.
Running W2k SP3 . Cannot access this check box in Device Manager/Drives/(my C:\ drive)/Properties. Also in Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Storage/Disk Management the disk label name "MASTER (C:)" is not shown although it does show for my D:\ drive "Slave (d:)"...

I usually back up my entire C:\ hard disk to a file on my D:\ hard disk. My last backup did not complete and I received a message that the backup limit had been reached. Can anyone tell me how to get around this?
