Hi,
We have a 3 location in two different continents, one is in the US using T1 and the other is using E1s.
Now, we need to have a network to be able to transfer voice and data traffic between these locations, the topology is as below:

do I need to do anything on the ISAKMP commands?
I have this currently configured
isakmp policy 10 encryption 3des
isakmp policy 10 hash md5
isakmp policy 10 group 2
I have PIX configured for 3DES encryption VPN, and I want to test with AES 128 bit...
is it possible to keep the current vpn configuration and add a new vpn group that would use AES? and how to configure the IPSEC in this case?
Thanks
Ok, I figured it out... I did the FNA in the COS... then it worked ;-)
One question though, if the Analog extension is the one doing the forward to the operator... what is the point of the ACDN on the hunt-group pilot? just to better understand the reasoning...Thanks
I need to know if I setup Symposium 5.0 in the three server setup as requested by Nortel to achive higher availability, how long will take for symp server to go up if the main goes down? and what is the sequence of events
Nortel second level support came back saying that by design the card sends CLI when the extension is directly called, however, the CLI is lost in case of transfer...
Can anyone confirm? the guy also said that his knowledge of the subject is 3 years old.
Thanks
Our supplier claims that CLI can only be shown over analog extension if the extension is directly dialed, but NOT if it was transferred..etc.
Is that true?
The problem is that I need the flash to transfer... so I can't win... !!
I found it in the manual there is a timer for it on LD 15, but I couldn't figure out how to change the current value
2-(6)-3
?
I am trying to get dialogic to understand the line disconnect signal from an analog line, I configured the CLS of the analog extensions to have LDTA, when I do the PBXpert on dialogic, it does detec the disconnect, but when I do a test, it fails!
Any help?
I tried this configuration, and I took the VM down. I kept getting busy on the ACDN for the VM, it did not overflow...
I brought the VM back up, it started answering the calls?!
Part number : NT5D60AA
Manual : 553-3001-154
I don't know why couldn't they just upgrade the analog card to send CLI... it would have been far simpler and easier to manage... someone at Nortel seems to be missing what the competitors are doing.
